The 2012 Board of Directors for the Watford City Area Chamber of Commerce are:

| Executive Committees |
The Watford City Chamber of Commerce has five Executive Committees through which members can serve and promote the business community in our area. Each of the 7 Directors heads up one of the committees. If you have a particular area of interest or expertise that falls into one or more of these categories, consider serving on that committee. The Chamber is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers. To the right is a listing of the Committees. | Duties of Chamber Committees |
"At least one Board member shall head up said committee and report back to the Board of Directors as to the activities and accomplishments of the committee. More than one board member may serve on the committee but one person should be designated as Committee Chair." (See bylaws Article VII, Section 2 above)
Each committee shall turn in a report to the Chamber office of the activities of said committee that will be presented to the membership at large at the Fall Quarterly meeting.

| Administrative Committee |
Made up of the President, Vice President and the Secretary/Treasurer.

| Membership & Dues |
Membership & Dues committee takes care of membership drives, visits to prospective members, and anything pertaining to dues and membership that may come up.

|
| Public Relations |
Duties for year. Take care writing and sending sympathy cards or flowers to Chamber members as deemed appropriate by the Board of Directors.
In charge of coordinating vehicle and driver for Chamber float in all parades board chooses to be a part of. Some done in the past: Fair parade, Arnegard 4th of July, Old Settlers, Homecoming.
In Charge of coordinating Annual Banquet, Steak Fry and Fall Festival.

| Retail Committee |
Need to elect a Chairman (Normally a board member) who then coordinates the agenda for the meetings. Chamber Executive Secretary/Director will take notes. Coordinates retail promotions such as Crazy Days, Blowout Sale, Mothers/Fathers Day Promotions, Christmas Dollars, Turkey Bingo, Parade of Lights, Christmas Grand Prize Giveaway, Wakeup Santa, etc.

| Tourism |
Coordinates events or activities that draw visitors too Watford City from outside the city. Events such as Art in the Park, Spring Fling, Christmas Through the Years. Is on hand to host and welcome groups to Watford City from outside the area. Groups such as bus tours, familiarization tours, etc. Works closely with the Tourism Bureau.
