EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES
The Watford City Chamber of Commerce has 7 Executive
Committees through which members can serve and promote the business community
in our area. If you have a particular
area of interest or expertise that falls into one or more of these categories,
consider serving on that committee. The Chamber is always looking for
enthusiastic volunteers. To learn more about each committees’ activities or if

Duties of Chamber Committees
EXECUTIVE BOARD
Consists of the President, Vice President, and the
Secretary.
BUSINESS AND SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
The Business and School Partnership Committee encourages
collaboration between business and schools in Watford City.
RETAIL AND DOWNTOWN
The Retail and Downtown Committee will serve and support the growth and
development of retail businesses in Watford City to benefit our members and the
entire community.
EVENTS
The events committee plans promotions and event throughout
the year to draw people to Watford City. Watford City Chambers main events are
the Chamber/EDC Annual Meeting, Homefest, Ribfest, Trail of Treats, Turkey
Bingo, and the Parade of Lights.
GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS
The Government Affairs Committee was assembled to identify
and address legislative issues affecting business and the economic growth of
Watford City.
MEMBERSHIP
The primary purpose of the membership committee is to
broaden the base of Chamber membership by recruiting new members and working to
retain current membership contact and by developing membership benefits.
HOSPITALITY BUSINESS COMMITTEE
Comprised of members from hotels & lodging, food and beverage
establishments, retail, entertainment & tourism. Our goal is to provide
resources and opportunities to connect with fellow colleagues and discuss the
latest industry challenges & trends.
